How to Get it and How to Keep it: Healthy Sleep for Your Child and Intimacy in Your Relationship

  • Matt and Marie's 2 Logan Square (18th and Arch) Philadelphia, PA, 19103 United States (map)

Join us for a fun, engaging, and interactive program about actually getting your kids to sleep and restoring intimacy in your relationship once they do!

The program will take place in two sessions and includes a delicious lunch (vegetarian options available) from Matt and Marie's that will be served in between. Participants will be placed in two groups (one before lunch and one after) to experience both aspects of the program in an intimate setting. See below for more information about each session and facilitator.

INTIMACY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Finding time for intimacy after having a baby can be challenging. After caring for your child all day it's hard enough to remember to tell your partner that you love them, let alone muster  up enough energy to have sex. This workshop is designed to help women uncover new ways to be intimate with their partners after having a baby. Women will have the opportunity to share their stories, learn from one another, and get advice on how to bring the passion back into their love life.

Facilitated by: Hannah Afua Obeng is an Individual and Relational Therapist dedicated to helping people experience the best quality relationships. She is a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), The Association of Black Sexologists and Clinicians (ABSC), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Hannah received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Licensed Social Worker. She also has a postgraduate certification in Sex Therapy from the Council for Relationships. Hannah is passionate about helping you uncover and work through relationship or sexual issues that might be standing in the way of the relationship you deserve and desire.
